Jays strike deals with Villanueva, Johnson, Francisco

The Toronto Blue Jays avoided arbitration with right-hander Carlos Villanueva, second baseman Kelly Johnson and outfielder Ben Francisco on Tuesday, signing all three to one-year deals.
